The free healthy word of the day: Trust - firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

Trust - firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something

Discuss the word "Trust" with your child.  Trusting one another or even trusting one’s self, can be quite challenging.  Yet, trust is essential to building healthy, long-term relationships.  To build relationships in school, work, or families, strong bonds of trust must be established, maintained, and strengthened.  Empowering our children, by modeling reliable and trustworthy behavior our selves will strengthen their self – value and boost your child’s self – esteem.  It’s also important to provide them with opportunities, to show they’re reliable trustworthy people.  Be reliable and truthful today, as you create your life and enjoy your day!

Who can we trust?

Do you trust yourself all the time? Why or why not?

What are the benefits to trusting others?

How can we become trustworthy reliable people?

Does your child have any friends they trust? Why or why not?
